One of the worst gynecologists I've been to. If you're an English speaker and researching whether to consider gynecologist Dr. Ieva Zenteliene, just run away.
I went to Dr Zenteliene after seeing on Affidea website "anglu" next to the languages she speaks, and the minute I walked into the visit and said in Lithuanian "Please maybe English" she rolled her eyes and started talking to me with an attitude, and her English was quite good actually, I just didn't understand what triggered her bad attitude towards me. I really felt uncomfortable staying during the visit with her and said "sorry I did not feel comfortable staying", because with such unprofessionalism I refuse to let her touch me.
When you are a patient you are in a vulnerable physical and mental well-being and having to deal with a Doctor talking down on you is so unprofessional and traumatizing, especially if you are in a foreign country. No patient should feel like they are leaving the room in an even worse mood than they came in just because the Doctor they visited spilled their bad attitude on them.
This isn't about not being "princesses", this is about basic human decency and empathy and treating humans with respect and dignity. When you are a Doctor and have such power over your patients, you do hold a responsibility to make the experience enjoyable for them, put a smile on your face no matter what, and make them feel that your consultation room is a safe space for women.
I really hope for you that you improve and become a better Doctor.
